Jackie O's Athens,OH 10/29/09 $7
Jackie O's is a microbrew in Athens. The only one. They make a burger called "Athens Own" which is made of local beef that is fed spent grain from their brewing process. Cheddar and sauteed on a Kaiser bun that tasted like it was also made from said grain. Local kettle chips make this a very low carbon footprinted meal. Unless of course, you drive far. This was incredibly juicy. will definitely be back here to try their other creations.
Calling for writers
Do you like burgers? Scratch that, do you love burgers? Scratch that too. Do you lust for burgers? If so, I would like to invite you to become a contirubtor to this blog. I am looking for people who travel a lot and try burgers from all over. Or, you can simply write up a review of a burger in your area that is well known. I am looking from mom and pop places especially. If i want to woite about a burger from the big 3, I will do it on my own or let my kids do it. Also, I do not need any repeats of things i have written about already. So if you think you have something to share, let me know, we will see what we can do. I do not want to make this a big thing. I just want to give people like me a place to brag.

This was great! fun to eat . it was like eating ribs but with all the fun of a burger. I will definitely get this guy again. And yes, that is pulled pork between the onion rings and the burger.

Pretty good. Wafflehouse quality. I could not determine for a fact that the meat had not been frozen. I was suspicious.
Eat again? Probably.
